In house manufacturing capability allows Crown to offer its customers an absolute advantage in lower machine operating costs. Our two primary manufacturing facilities, located in Billings, Montana, USA, utilize the latest CNC machine tools available. These tools are supported by a modern CAD/CAM system, enabling Crown to consistently produce high quality products for mining customers around the world.

CNC/CAD/CAM systems allow Crown to manufacture haul truck and electric shovel parts that meet or exceed OEM specifications. Crown also has an extensive Manual Machine Department. These manually operated machines produce many of the large, oversize and custom components that mines require. State of the art machine centers are operated by trained machinists with years of experience in producing parts and components for the mining industry.
